This was another cracking advert for Principality Premiership rugby. The small crowd who came along to the ‘parc’ were treated to end to end game between two sides who were keen to show off their attractive brands of rugby. Long time stalwart starting his first game of the season Jonny Lewis got the games first touch down on 2 minutes, finishing off a nice break by the three quarters. Bedwas also started well and had some early pressure which resulted in two quick fire penalties from Steffan Jones. The visitors got their first try on 19 minutes when full back Aaron Bramwell barged his way over following a series of drives close to the try line. Then on 22 minutes Matthew Jenkins got the teams second try following a darting run out stripping the Bedwas defence, Ashley slotted the extras. Further pressure by the Llanelli forwards resulting in hooker Taylor Davies scoring his second try of the week, the first against Keys last Tuesday evening. Ashley Sutton again adding the extras and two minutes later slotted a penalty goal to open up an eight point advantage to the home side. But Bedwas had the last play of the half and forced a penalty try from scrum ball. At the half

further end to end stuff ensued throughout the second half with Sutton slotting a further three penalties and Steff Jones kicking one himself. A series of drives by the visitors pack resulted in replacement Luke Crane to cross for the try, Jones again converting. It was now a one point game and really building to an exciting climax. The home side upped the pace and dominated possession and territory as the clock ran down, No further scores but an excellent game played in really good spirit and a fine performance by the home side.
