10 March 2018 - Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli

Match Preview

Bargoed will be a tough test

We’re back at Parc-y-Scarlets this weekend, this time we host Bargoed RFC in our next Principality Premiership league game. Kick off is at 2.30pm on Saturday. As always we will provide a warm welcome to everyone who comes along to catch the action. Everyone at Llanelli was disappointed with the Aberavon result and I’m sure the coaches and playing squad will be working hard on those action areas that fell short against the Wizards. Our opponents will bring a game plan to the ‘parc’ that will be difficult to breakdown but that’s the challenge at this level.

As I’ve said a warm welcome awaits all the players, officials and travelling support from Bargoed. In the combined league they’ve all ready secured a couple of fine wins. They turned over Neath at the Gnoll and a couple of weeks ago secured another excellent win at home against our last opponents Aberavon. They will have taken a lot from that result and although they lost at Carmarthen a few weeks ago they will be confident coming to the home of Llanelli RFC. For good measure they’re also in the Qtr finals of the National Cup so all their playing squad will be keen to impress ahead of their rearranged cup game with Ebbw Vale.

As always everyone at Llanelli RFC are grateful for your continued support and let’s get behind the team as they look to achieve a ‘W’ come 4.15pm on Saturday.
