After what seems like an age we have a home Premiership fixture this coming Saturday. Due to the England v Wales game kicking off later in the afternoon, our game will kick off a little earlier than usual, at 2.00pm. We host our fellow regionalists Carmarthen Quins in what will be our 3rd fixture with them this season. As always a warm welcome awaits both home and away supporters who come along to the 'parc' on Saturday.
Having had a difficult start to the second half of the season when all the Premiership clubs come together, this home fixture provides the opportunity for the town semi's to repeat their early season win over the Quins. Make no mistake it won't be easy as our visitors have started their campaign in fine fashion. Their were both positives & negatives at Sardis Road last week and I'm sure the coaches and players will look closely at those this week in order to put a game plan together that can overcome the Quins threat.
As I've said Carmarthen Quins are in fine form. If you look at their recent run of results( ignoring the Cup exit at Pontypool) it makes impressive reading. They finished high up in the West Group pre Xmas and have won both opening fixtures in the 2nd phase. Last week they overcame a dogged Aberavon side and will no doubt come to Parc-y-Scarlets looking to put further pressure on the early league front runners.
So why not come along to the 'parc' this Saturday to catch some fine semi pro action and then stay in the Quinnell Lounge to catch the Twickenham game.
As always were extremely grateful for your continued support.
