Sardis Road next up

After the disappointment of exiting the National cup last weekend, Llanelli Semi pros travel along the M4 corridor and then up to Sardis road to take on Pontypridd in the next round of Premiership league action. The game has been rearranged from Saturday to Friday night due to Wales playing the following day, so why not come along to start off the weekend which will be full of rugby action. With the Scarlets in LV action and the likelyhood of some semi's stepping up for the Sale game, the coaches will ring the changes for this fixture. Having said that, it once again opens up opportunities for young talent across the region to put the famous shirt on and go out and make a name for themselves.

Meanwhile, Pontypridd will as usual provide a warm welcome to one and all who travel on Friday evening. They will be disappointed to miss out on cup success have gone out of the National cup,at the expense of Cross keys in the 1st round. Having said that their league form has been very impressive having lost  just the three times so far this season. Whilst it's still early days, and with still a lot of rugby to play they will fancy their chances of pushing for league honours this year.

So, a big ask for Llanelli then, but I'm sure a lot of hard work on the training field this week will see the side well prepared to face the challenge head on.

look forward to seeing you there, and should any of our squad turn out against Sale, I'm sure we'd all like to wish them well. Oh, and of course good luck to Wales against the Scots!
