Match Preview

Principality Premiership Round 2

Our next Principality Premiership fixture see us hosted by our fellow regionals Carmarthen Quins. The game has a scheduled k.o time of 2.30 next Saturday. I'm sure all those who make the journey west will have a really good welcome and can look forward to some cracking Premiership action.
After our excellent win at the 'Parc' last Sunday the boys will be relishing locking horns with our local rivals and will know doubt be working extremely hard this week on a game plan to make it two from two! It was really encouraging to see how hard all the boys worked against the champions for the full eighty and more of the same will be required again this weekend.
The Quins earned a really good win at St Helens and reading the match report it looked very much as though the win was earned by a dominant pack! That's what Llanelli have to match if we are to take the points on offer.
The Quins win over Swansea in really testing conditions must have given both the coaching staff and all the players a massive fillip ahead of the forthcoming regional clash and make no mistake they will fancy their chances of making two from two themselves. Yes, they may go into the game as favourites, but recent games between these two sides have produced some really exciting encounters. If Llanelli are to turn them over, Adam and the boys will need more of the same again this week.
So, why not come along on Saturday to support the semi's in the second round of league fixtures.
Hope to see you there.
